All of our instructors are independent contractors who have been through an intensive interview process and understand our goals, objectives, and philosophies here at McCourt's Music. Each has an extensive resume and is highly qualified to teach their particular specialties.

Numerous instructors are available on most instruments allowing you to choose the instructor that fits your needs based on experience, availability, pricing, and personality.

How much do lessons cost?
Each instructor sets their own rates. The average cost of a lesson is $25 per lesson. You pay your instructor directly; most instructors offer convenient monthly payment plans.

Do I need an instrument?
Yes, you will need an instrument in good working order to give yourself the best opportunity to learn. McCourt's offers affordable monthly rentals on all instruments. We also have a full service repair department to keep your instrument in top notch playing condition.

How do I get started?
First, choose an instructor. Then, contact that instructor to set up an appointment for your first lesson. Should you have any questions or do not receive a return call from your instructor, please feel free to call McCourt's Music for assistance. It's a good idea to show up a few minutes early to your first lesson to make sure you get settled and are ready to get started at your scheduled time.
