- Taught instrumental music in the Detroit Public Schools for 25 years
- Many years of private teaching experience
- Performance experience in the Michigan State University Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and Chamber Orchestra II; Metropolitan Symphonic Band, Ann Arbor Civic Band, Chalemeau Wind Ensemble, and various small chamber groups. 

Hobbies/Interests
Bicycling, photography, baseball, composing music
