Dakotah performs with his Jazz Quartet Shades of Gray throughout the Metro Detroit area. Recently he won an award at OU for "Outstanding Student in Jazz" for which department head Danny Jordan was quoted saying "Dakotah has been a core ingredient to our jazz program since he came to Oakland. His talent has blossomed immensely as he has become the leader of our sax section. He is well one his way to quickly becoming a first rate professional jazz saxophonist. I look for great things from Dakotah in the future." Dakotah enjoys teaching privately and igniting his passion for music in his students.
