Gordy is a Waterford Mott graduate who received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education at Western Michigan University. While at Western, he studied and performed various styles of music ranging from marching to jazz. For eight years, after college, Gordy taught band in Waterford Schools, grades 5-12.
Many of his students have continued their love for music into the college level and some have chosen music education as a profession.

Sports, Martial Arts, Video Games, and Laughing.
