Heather has just recently graduated from the University's of Windsor's Faculty of Education, focusing on Education of Music. Heather's love of teaching, conducting, and performing have helped her to graduate at the top of her class on the President's Honor Roll, nominated as the student with the most promise as a future educator.
Before hand, Heather lived in Toronto focusing on flute, piccolo, and voice. Heather has had a great deal of experience teaching both beginning and advanced students and has performed in and directed many ensembles, such as Timothy Eaton Memorial Orchestra in Toronto as well as playing lead chair for the National Youth Band of Canada and the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra.

Hobbies/Interests
Heather loves to sing and has performed with the MacMillan Singers as well as the recognized Amadeus Choir in Toronto. She loves to play piano as well as conduct ensembles. On the side, Heather loves anything revolving around art. She loves to glass blow and fuse jewelry of all sorts, loves interior design, travel, and carpenry.

Quote or Philosophy
In order to be well-rounded in music, one needs to experience as many facets or music as possible. We must always be continual learners in life and constantly strive to challenge ourselves.
