2005: BM in Violin/Viola Performance and Education awarded from the  University of Hawaii at Manoa
2001: Suzuki teaching certification levels one and two in violin/viola awarded in Deerfield, Illinois 

Teaching Experience 
Jessica has taught privately for many years.  She has teaching experience with students of every level and age group, teaching both violin and viola.  Jessica taught and conducted the Livonia Youth Philharmonic of Michigan (2000-2003) and mentored in the Detroit Symphony Civic Orchestra Educational Programs (2000-2003, 2006-2007).  She is a clinician in many high school orchestra programs, and is an active member of ASTA. 

Performance Experience 
Jessica has had the honor to perform with legendary musicians including DSO conductor Neemi Jarvi, composer Gunther Schuller, violinists Midori and Itzak Perlman, and Motown legends the O’Jays.  Jessica has also performed in many national musical festivals, including the Shadyside Chamber Music Festival, the Henry Mancini Institute, the MTNA Festival, and the National Orchestral Institute in Maryland.  Jessica currently performs with the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra, Dearborn Symphony Orchestra, Plymouth Symphony Orchestra, and the Pontiac-Oakland Symphony Orchestra.  She is a founding member of Courante String Quartet and Paradise Strings.
