Laura is a Freshman at Oakland University and has been playing the viola for nine years. She has also picked up the violin and has quickly excelled with it. Laura attended Blue Lake three years in a row, two of them with full scholarships. She has been teaching since May of 2005. Laura was part of the Mott Chamber Orchestra for three years and has received multiple "1's" at Solo and Ensemble regional and state competitions. Recently she was nominated as one of the top 50 students in the Waterford school district and has received many scholarships for her college education. Those scholarships include the "Spirit of Mott" award, the "Talented Scholar" award from OU, and the MEAP award.

Hobbies/Interests
Sports, Live Concerts, Performing, Designing the school yearboook, Hiking, biking, camping, friends, family, and working at McCourts Music.
