Mr. Mark Kieme is an alumnus of the University of Michigan School of Music, studying with Larry Teal and Donald Sinta. After college, he studied jazz with noted jazz educator Harry Meidema of Indianapolis. While on staff at Oakland University, he teaches Applied Jazz Saxophone and plays in the University Quartet.
Mr. Kieme is the most frequently recorded saxophonist in the Detroit area today, having performed on over 100 cds and several hundered ads and soundtracks over the last twenty years. He's a regular member of the Paul Keller Orchestra, The Johnny Trudell Big Band, The Craig Strain Orchestra, and the Motor City Jazz Orchestra and has performed often with the Detroit Symphony. He will be releasing his first recording under his own name in mid 2007, "Los Chupacabres Muertes", co-produced by P-Funk veteran Larry Fratangelo.

Hobbies / Interests:
Cooking, Hikng, & Bike riding.
