About The Suzuki Method
Suzuki Method is a music education method for young beginners ages 3 to early teens. Suzuki Method believes that through a positive, encouraging environment which includes peer motivation and equal partnership with parent and teacher, a students ability to develop their full potential is unlimited. To me, Suzuki Method represents an ideal that has its foundation in love and the belief that “every child can”.
How Lessons Work
Parents, in equal partnership with an experienced teacher can make the experience of learning music fun and engaging for the student. Parents are required to attend every private lesson, commit to having their child attend group class once each month, guide and facilitate practices at home and encourage daily listening to recordings provided by the teacher. These commitments are unalterable and should be considered thoroughly before families start a music program that uses Suzuki Method.
