Angie has finished two years at Valparaiso University in Indiana where she she was studying for her B.A. in Cello Performance. While there she performed in numerous small ensembles, the university orchestra and also as a soloist. While in high school, she attended Interlochen Fine Arts Camp as part of the All-State orchestra. She was also accepted into Michigan's first annual All-State Orchestra held in Grand Rapids, MI. During her senior year she mentored the freshman orchestra and also led sectionals and, on occasion, part of class rehearsal.
Angie has now been teaching privately at McCourt's since May, 2008. Her studio is open to students of all ages and ability.
Hobbies/Interests
Angie's greatest love is music. She loves classical music as well as classic rock and everything in between. Led Zeppelin is one of her all time favorite bands. Angie is also very much into fashion and loves to shop.

"A violin can dazzle us with its unearthly stratospheric upper range, but its world, somehow is not our own. The cello sings in our register-its high notes and low notes are ours. If the violin is who we want to be, the cello is who we are."
Books & Materials Needed
Books will be based on the individual student. All will be required to bring a spiral notebook and pencil to every lesson.
