David has a degree in cello performance from the University of Northern Colorado and Suzuki Method Training from the Chicago Suzuki Institute. He has been teaching for over 8 years and now works regularly as a string clinician in public schools throughout the Metro Detroit area. David has been featured as a guest artist and a teacher at both the Rio International Cello Festival in Brazil, and the Vermont Improvising Strings Academy. He plays in several symphonies and bands in South East Michigan.

Music: Brazilian music (Bossa, Samba, Choro), Jazz, Rock, Bluegrass, Improvisation Non-Musical interests: Snowboarding, disc golf, racquetball, and video games
