Joe studied trumpet at MSU and piano at WSU. He works as a freelance keyboardist, instructor, and studio musician. His compositions and arrangements have been featured by local rock, swing, and jazz bands and on also on radio and television. His recording experience includes combo jazz, swing, rock, funk, spoken-word poetry, celtic, and blues. In fall/winter '05, he toured the country with bluesman "Motor City Josh."

Joe has been teaching privately for eleven years. He offers piano instruction at all skill levels. Lessons are crafted to suit the student's learning style and musical tastes.
