Education/Teaching/Performance Experience
Julian attended Washtenaw Community College where he was member of the WCC Jazz Orchestra as well as Wayne State University where he majored in Jazz Studies was a member of the Jazz Lab Band and The Jazztet.

Julian has taught privately for many years as well as the instructor for the Begining Jazz Drum course at Washtenaw Community College for over 10 years.

Julian believes that music education is the first step in starting a musical career.

Julian has been playing drums for over 32 years and playing perfessionally for over 26 years. With a versatile style and a musical outlook for playing drums, Julian has worked in almost every situation possible. From Musical Theatre to Drum & Bugle Corps to Jazz to Rock, Blues to R&B and Gospel Julian has played and recorded with top performers from every genre.
