- Katherine Fox is a professional multi-instrumentalist (flute, clarinet, and saxophone) who has played in the Detroit metro area for countless musical productions. She has taught lessons on all three instruments for over ten years, the last five at McCourt’s music. Katherine’s students are leaders in their school band programs who achieve high ratings at MSBOA festivals. She has taught successful students from 5 to 85 who have had a wide range of backgrounds, exceptionalities, disabilities, and ability levels. Katherine specializes in seeing that every student reaches their fullest potential. Her lessons are goal based, positive, focused, and challenging.
- Katherine is an alumnus of Oakland University where she received her Bachelor of Music degrees in Clarinet Performance and Instrumental Music Education. While at Oakland, Katherine dedicated herself to extensive study of the clarinet, saxophone, and flute.
- Currently, Katherine teaches music at Pontiac Academy for Excellence in Pontiac, MI. She is currently working on her first solo CD of original clarinet works.

Hobbies/Interests
- Katherine's hobbies are her three cats (Charlie, Carson, and Conan), playing ukulele, reading books by Dave Ramsey, crocheting, and watching Storage Wars.
