Lucas Roll

Trombone, Baritone, Tuba – Waterford McCourt’s Music
Not currently accepting new students

Music should be fun and educational for both the teacher and the student.  Music is an expression and an art form. I feel that my voice is the bass trombone and that through fun and challenging lessons, my students will learn to express themselves through music as I have.

Lucas holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Central Michigan University.  He has studied privately with Dr Wes Broadnax, Curtis Olson, Dr Robert Lindalh and Randall Hawes.  He has over 10 years of successful private teaching experience. Lucas has performed with the Midland Symphony, the Alma Symphony, the Lansing Concert Band and the Capitol City Brass Band.  He also played in the opera “La Boheme” at the Midland Center for the Arts.

 Hobbies/Interests:

I love to watch Tigers baseball…GO TIGERS!!  I also enjoy writing and arranging music for trombone, bass trombone and trombone quartets and choir.  I consider myself an amateur photographer; my photos might not be very good, but I enjoy taking them. I am a HUGE opera fan and my favorite opera voice of all time is Franco.
