Troy - Brass Repair Technician

Lucas is a brass repair technician specializing in trumpets, cornets, and flugelhorns. After several years working independently servicing a wide roster of clients, he joined the McCourt’s Music Group in 2025. A self-proclaimed trumpet geek, Lucas has owned, played, or worked on almost every make and model of trumpet on the market.

He enjoys taking a personal approach to repairs, knowing that a finely-tuned and adjusted instrument that matches the player is key to a successful career.

In addition to working in the repair world, Lucas is also an active professional trumpet player, freelancing throughout the Metro Detroit area. He earned his BA in Music from Wayne State University in 2018 and studied with Dwight Adams and Walter White.
